Analysis of Buildings under Earthquake Loading
The scope of the ABEL (Analysis of Buildings under Earthquake Loading) is to enhance student understanding on the interaction between earthquake ground motion charachteristics, soil conditions and the dynamic charachteristics of a structure and their effect in the overall dynamic system response of the system.
This application was developed in MATLAB environment by Evangellos Katsanos and Olympia Taskari, under the supervision of the course instructor, A. Sextos, within the context of the Virtual Laboratories Research Programme (P.I.: C. Koutitas). |

Installation files. Abel.exe must be extracted from the compressed file. The program runs on the Matlab environment, version 7.4.0 (R2007a). In the case of a non-existing Matlab installation, the program will be able to run if Matlab Compiler Runtime may be installed.
